Nutrition and Chronic Pain

Nutrition and Chronic Pain

Persistent pain is defined as the pain that last more than 12 weeks. About 1 in 5 people suffer from chronic pain.

Although people seek medicines to alleviate their symptoms, they underestimate the role of nutrition in the management of these conditions. While certain nutrients have an inflammatory component that can worsen osteoarthritis or bone pain, the deficiency of other essential micronutrients can amplify back pain, migraine and associated mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.

Plan : Our 3 month plan includes detailed nutritional assessment to identify the contributing nutritional factors and offer a personalised diet plan which includes supervised follow ups.
